change in pH, changes the colour (of the indicator)
It makes it easier to see the colour change in the solution after it reaches its endpoint.
when the colour of the indicator used is the color it should be in neutral
yes,its true that colour changes at the endpoint of titration but in some cases coloured solution become colourless.it indicate end of a reaction in which one substance has been fully used up.indicators are used to locate the endpoint but in certain cases reactant or product itself is coloured which at endpoint become colourless or coloured.
The indicator is used to measure the end point of titration. Methyl red and phenolphthalein are frequently used indicators in acid-base titration. Potassium permanganate can used as a self indicator in redox titrations where applicable.

when the colour persists/ stays for a longer period of time before going colourless again
orange
coz the oxidation state of manganese ion changes from +7 to +4. as a result Mno2 is formed which is brown in colour hence titration colour change cannot be detected
The endpoint color of sodium hypochlocrite and potassium iodide is not listed.
It's the colour indicator you watch for during the titration.
Adding NaOH-sol'n to oxalic acid, C2H2O4, the colour (from colorless) has to become purple-blue at pH 8 to 10.
pink colour obtain on titration with potesium dicromate by using indicater n phanyl anthronilic
