If you compare the size of the iPod to the size of mobile phones, that answer should become immediately obvious. For phones to contain as much storage as iPods and other such devices, many more components will be necessary to allow the phone to read the information properly. This, in turn, would consume more battery life, and thus the battery would be larger.

One could imagine that by now, the phone would be potentially twice the size of iPods currently. That's without considering extra components such as cameras, Bluetooth, etc, that would take up extra bulk.

In the end, the final product would be somewhat large and cumbersome, as well as requiring a huge battery to provide enough power. Thus, such a phone would be useless.

What is the difference between the memory in the mobile phone and that of a system unit memory?

The memory in a mobile phone typically consists of a combination of RAM (for temporary data storage) and internal storage (for apps and files), often optimized for energy efficiency and compactness. In contrast, a system unit's memory, which includes RAM and hard drives or SSDs, is generally larger and designed for higher performance and multitasking capabilities. Additionally, mobile memory is often non-removable, while system unit memory components can be upgraded or replaced more easily. Overall, mobile phone memory prioritizes portability and battery efficiency, whereas system unit memory focuses on performance and expandability.
