Because it was new, exciting and challenging
that she was very kind and thought full she was strong too. Amelia Earhart was very trust worthy
Her first name was really Amelia. Her mother was too, but she preferred "Amy"
maybe it was because she wanted too
Amelia Earhart helped with the airplane...
Amelia Earhart showed the world that women can fly too. She led the way to a new career that women can try if they desire. She showed us to follow our dreams and try harder if you fail. "Women, like men, should try to do the impossible. And when they fail, their failure should be a challenge to others." - Amelia Earhart
Amelia lived in many places and many different houses, too many to count.
Amelia Earhart usually wore Leather Jackets and Boots that are leather too. And goggles. But she also wore shirts underneath the Leather Jacket. And long khaki pants.
While Amelia Earhart did not have a role in the first Trans-Atlantic flight, She was the first woman to make the trip in 1928, although she rode as a passenger. In 1932 she flew as the first woman to fly nonstop solo across the Atlantic.
Risking her life, because she thought that women should have the right to do stuff too. hope I answered your question. :) Gracie
Amelia Earhart was born on July 24, 1897. She was a pioneering aviator and author who set many aviation records in her lifetime. Despite her disappearance in 1937 during an attempt to fly around the world, she is remembered as a strong, independent woman who paved the way for future female aviators.
She was one of the first women to pilot a plane and became a symbol for women's rights and history. My mom was a young woman when Earhart began to fly and she became a model for young women of her time. My mom said she wanted to learn to fly too and admired her. Even today at 80 years old when my mom talks about her you can hear the influence she had on the women of her time.
She went to meet with her husband, james, in Chicago
