Why hasn't America been allowed in Cuba for 50 years?
The United States does not have diplomatic relations with the communist government of Cuba, which still seems to be involved in some degree of Cold War with the US even 20 years after the fall of the USSR. However, it is not entirely true that America has not been allowed in Cuba. Remember that the US does have a naval base in Cuba, in Guantanamo Bay, which it has had ever since the Spanish American War.

What countries were involved in the Amistad case?
West Africa, Spain, and America. The slaves were from West Africa, and the Spanish are the ones that illegally captures these Africans to sell them into slavery. America involved themselves in solving the case by trying yo figure out wether these were Africans born in Spain or in Africa and were they would belong. The slaves took over La Amistad and killed almost all the crew of the boat near Cuba, although Cuba wasn't really involved.
