Anne and Burras
Anne Burras Laydon is believed to have died in 1636 in Virginia. She was one of the first English women to arrive in the New World and played a role in the early colonization efforts in Jamestown.
This is a very interesting question. I had to do a wax museum at a school and had to be Anne Burras. She died in 1636
The first female settlers we have record of arrived at Jamestown colony on October 1st, 1608. Their names were Mistress Forrest and Anne Burras.
Most people don't know when she wa sborn. She was 14 when she arrived in Jamestown in 1608 so subtract 14 from 1608 and you get 1594 so she was born in 1594.
