If by bad teachers you're refuring to Snape, than I wouldn't call him "bad".
As you find out in Deathly Hallows, Snape is double agnet, pretending to be loyal to Voldemort while really being a good guy and giving Dumbledore information he needs. Snape tells Voldemort that he's pretending to work for Dumbledore while truly being loyal to him. Although there are quit a few times when I was very convinced that Snape belonged to the Dark Lord and I think sometimes that his old Death Eater ways did take over his body and he became loyal to Voldemort. Yes Snape was a Death Eater. The one thing that really seems to stump people about trusting Snape is Dumbledore's death. Yes, Snape did kill Dumbledore but, oddly it was planned. I've already given away WAY to much. Long live Harry Potter.
