The embalming process.
Embalming
The embalming process is used to temporarily preserve the body and stop decomposition before public viewing at funerals. The three goals of embalming are sanitation, presentation, and preservation.
only the embalmer is involved
Mummification is the preservation of the soft tissue of a body by any means, natural or artificial. Embalming is the deliberate preservation of a body for any period of time. This includes what we commonly term "the process of mummification" in Ancient Egypt
They developed a process called embalming to protect the body.
The wetyw were Egyptians who helped with the embalming process. They were the ones who actually did most of the cutting and removing of the organs.
Part of the embalming process, as practiced by the ancient Egyptians, was to remove the internal organs and place them in jars.
That process was called mummification. Not only was it practiced by the Egyptians, it was practiced by the Mayans, the Turks, and even the Chinese!
I do not fully understand the question because embalming was a process carried out on the corpses of the Pharaohs to preserve their bodies for eternity. I do know that the ancient Egyptians used many precious stones, the main one being the brilliant blue stone "lapis lazuli". Through trade and plunder the Egyptians had access to many precious stones.
Simply to preserve to body by slowing down the decay process. This allows a more "natural" look for viewing. Most state require embalming, if burial is not within 48 hours, in order to prevent any potential health hazards that can be attributed to decay.
