to save us from sin and open the gates of heaven. that probably doesn't make sense so God sent Jesus so he could preach to us so we would know right from wrong. :)
I believe that he did send Jesus to save us from our sins. He gave everyone a free choice to either love him or walk away from him, and even those who walk away and come back are still loved by Jesus. ( kind of like our own children. No matter what they do, if they come back, we are not going to disown them.)
But I feel there is more to Christianity, I do not feel God intended us to all get married and have children. Go to church and be Christians in the four walls of the church like so, many people and business owners do. Even the churches have there own little twist on what God wants. But in the end, there is no perfect church, like there is no perfect us.
Could you imagine God created the Universe, the Heavens, and the Earth. For us to think we were here just to survive? That's crazy. There is so much to all of God and the Heavens then we could ever imagine.
The greatest is Love. Can you say, you have love for everything, everyone? Your neighbor, the drug dealer down the street, maybe even someone else of different color or income? When you can love everyone, then you really can know how much God truly loves you!
Trust in him, love him and thy neighbors ( he did not say your Christian neighbors) Love everyone. We do not know why God really put us here on Earth, if there are others like us somewhere else in the huge Universe or if we are the only ones (which I have a hard time believing) I am sure God's plans are so Huge, non of us will really know why we were here or what is ahead of us.
Love (not sincerely),
Chantel
According to the story of The Bible, god sent his only son Jesus to be born on earth to be our savior and show us how to be better people and to save us from damnation. In the last four years of his life, he certainly did accomplish something. Since we remember him to this day, the stories and retelling of his actions have certainly affected the way some Christians behave today.
To die for our sins For God so love the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not die but have ever lasting life John 3:16
Jesus has a question, and it goes like this; who can I send, on whom can I depend? Who will be my witness, tell the world that God is love? Won't you come along my friend? Jesus her am I, send me. Jesus here am I send me. I will lift up my life, always serving thee, Jesus her am I send me.
God sent Jesus for one reason: so that we (humans) may have salvation. God sent Jesus knowing that he would be crucified and ressurected. By Jesus sacrificing himself for our sins we are able to be forgiven by God.
jesus
Gods mission was to send his only son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the world, and so we could have both salvation and eternal life.
Jesus came into the world to save mankind from their sins. As men refused to listen and repent to the prophets of old . God had to send his only son Jeus to die on the cross and save the world from sin.
No way for that because God is way greater than that, Jesus is just a human God send him to tell people to worship only God no one else.
My friend, if you believe that God and Jesus Christ do mischief, I have a sorry feeling for you. God is Love and can do no evil. In fact God has a plan of salvation that will rescue you. Jesus tells us in John 3:17-18, " For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." As you can see You don't have to do a thing to enter into hell, but there is something you can do to go to heaven and that is to believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
No. Jesus is the Son of God, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
What was god mission to the world?
Christianity is based on Jesus death, burial and resurrection. There would be no Christianity without Jesus. Jesus came as the lamb of God: Joh 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Jesus died as the lamb given by God as a sacrifice, a suitable payment for the sin of all mankind and so all who believe will be saved from death. Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 1Jn 5:11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 1Jn 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
As the world was full of sin and people refused to listen to the word of god by the prophets. Then god sent Jesus to save the world of sin.
No, Thor is.
