Graystripe's mate Silverstream dies in Forest of Secrets,the third book of the original Warriors series. She died of blood loss as she gave birth to Graystripe's kits Stormfur and Feathertail. Cinderpelt tried all she could do to save the RiverClan she-cat, but Silverstream was gone.
Graystripe later finds a new mate though, named Millie. Who is still alive as of Sign of the Moon.
