Do Edward and Jacob battle for Bella?
Edward and Jacob do fight over Bella but not phyisically.In breaking dawn Jacob understands that Bella will always love Edward more than him.Also suprisingly Edward and Jacob start to become friends.

What happens in chapter twenty three eclipse?
In chappie 23 of Eclipse, Bella wakes in Jacobs arms and Jacob tells her she was sleeptalking. Then Jacob leaves the tent to go and talk to Sam and Edward and Bella start talking about their top 10 favourite nights of their life. After awhile Edward says his favourite night was when Bella agreed to marry him, and after he admits it they both hear a wolf howl in agony. Edward tells Bella that Jacob was listening and that he now knows they are engaged. Edward admits to saying that when he knew Jacob was listening, he was trying to hurt him. Bella starts crying and Edward gets Jacob so that they can talk. Edward leaves so they can talk privatly and Jacob tells her that he is going to kill himself unless she kisses him. They kiss and Bella finds herself not pushing him away but pulling him closer. Then he tells her that should of been their first kiss and hugs her, and then the guilt comes and she starts crying into his chest. THE END! (OF CHAPPIE 23,LOL)

Not exactly. Bella does CHOOSE Edward - but she feels torn because of her strong bond and friendship with Jacob. She never truly loved Jacob in a romantic way and certainly not in the way she loves Edward.Her hesitation to accept Edward's proposal has little to do with Jacob (at least, that's what I read...) What is happens at the very end off new moon the movie?
Jacob is talking to Edward and Bella and he reminds them that the treaty says that they are not allowed to bite anybody and therefore Bella can't be changed. Edward and Jacob are arguing and they almost get in to a serious fight but Bella stands in between them and says that they can't hurt each other without hurting her. Jacob leaves and then Edward tells her that she shouldn't become a vampire. Edward thinks of a condition, that she has to marry him. Edward says "Marry me Bella" it goes to a shot of Bella's shocked face and then goes black, the credits then start. This is what happens in the Epilogue of the book.
Does Edward get jealous when Jacob talks to Bella in New Moon?
I believe that he gets a bit jealous because he wants to give Bella things even though Bella thinks he already give her everything. But I think he is also concerned about her safety. Edward knows all along what Jacob is so he doesn't want Bella around him from the start just in case she grows too attached or Jacob phases and hurts her.

Eclipse is mainly about Bella choosing who she wants to be with. she would much rather have both Edward and Jacob, and tryed being Edwards girl friend but this hurt Jacob which also hurt Bella. she can't decide what to do and while Jacob and Edward are competing for her, Bella has to deal with graduation and victorias band of new vampires. Their is a fight with the Cullen's and the werewolfs working to gether to save Bella from Victorias band of blood thirsty newborn vampires that are only trying to kill Bella. Towrds the end of the fight Jacob finds out that Edward has proposed to Bella and she agreed to marry him. Jacob talks with Bella when they are alone and Jacob trickes Bella into Kissing him becasue if she didn't kiss him he was going to kill himself in the battle. Edward finds out but is not mad at all. he comferts Bella becasue she feels really bad about kissing Jacob. Jacob gets hurt in the fight and a few days after the fight Bella visits Jacob and tells him that she loves him but she is going to pick edward and not him. she feels horrible and Jacob leaves. Bella and Edward start talking about the weding which Bella agreed to do by a weird agreement. Bella is constantly sad about Jacob.

In the Twilight series, Jacob promises Bella that he will never leave her like Edward, her vampire boyfriend, did. Unfortunately, Bella does not want want to start a relationship with Jacob, even though he is madly in love with her. Because of the changes happening in Jacob's body (due to the transitional stage of becoming a wolf), he starts to ignore her in order to protect her from his violent outbreaks. It isn't until Jacob kisses her that Bella realizes that she does have feelings for him. Unfortunately, her feelings for Edward are much stronger. Jacob tries very hard to "imprint", on Bella but is unsuccessful. He makes her feel ashamed of her choices and says that he will never see her again if she chooses to become a vampire. In the end of the series, this is not the case because Jacob "imprint's" on Bella's daughter, Renesmee, and they become friends again.
