Most of the time when Jesus met he did so to give them instruction or just to be with them. I am sure they met many times since they were together for 3 years. There was a time when the 11 disciples met after Jesus went back to heaven in order to choose a man to replace Judas. This can be found in Acts chapter 1
Hi Brethren,
First of all, Jesus did not have any Disciples but Labourers that He chose for the Vineyard of our Father where He Himself was the True Vine Planted by our Father and this Vineyard has a Narrow Gate that the people have to find themselves on Solitary Basis. Wide Gate covenant is the old one with Temple Rabbis.
Those who eat the Flesh of Jesus, have ears to hear His Word and then Drink the Blood of Christ by Preaching Gospel as Jesus Preached when He was with us, they are the Labourers of Jesus, our Foreman.
At Pentecost, the Labourers were paid their Wage, the Holy Spirit, same to every one.
The root of the word Disciple is discipline and you discipline the natural man and not the spiritual. So, John, the Baptist, an Ideal Rabbi, Prophet Elijah and Temple Priests, etc. they had Disciples. Messianic Jews corrupted The Bible. Light came among His own and they loved Darkness.
Who suffered for this evil act? Messianic Jews themselves as in the Holocausts. Gentile did not suffer such holocausts.
Two answers could be acceptable to this question. 1. To receive instruction and to be taught the gospel from the words of Christ. 2. Meeting to partake of The Last Supper in the upper room, Christ instructed them in how they should remember Him when he returned to His father in heaven. This instruction was on how to conduct the Sacrament in remembrance of Him. The partaking of the bread to remember His body, and the drinking of wine or water to remember His blood which was shed for all mankind.
