To preach to people everywhere, Jews and Gentiles alike. There was no television, radios or even daily newspapers. So the only way to get the good word out was by travelling from place to place, and always hoping for the kindness of a stranger to let them dine and sleep in their home.

Do what things?I'm guessing you mean why they spreadChristianity. Well, the disciples did it because Jesus told them too. He pretty much proved to them that he was the son of God by how he lived, what he taught, and other miracles and stuff. And Jesus did it because God wanted him too. Because God wanted to give humanity a second chance (like it says John 3:16).
