Because they realized that their churches are not giving them any help in their faith with Jesus Christ. Jesus' kingdom is not connected to a church, or denomination. Some people just can't find God in a church, and find it nothing but a 'social club'. 80% of the churches are devoid of Jesus' resurrection power. Mediocrity has entered churches. And churches are no longer like loving families. They are more like industrial places to stuff people's heads and keep the pews warm and keep the people for their money, so that the dynasty can continue. Reasons enough to turn our backs towards churches, and find a new and real beginning, rather than upkeeping a fake image we want others to perceive.
