Holy spirit, the spirit of man is common sense and this was not allowed by the Rabbis. They were asked to follow their instructions blindly so much so that if your house catches fire on Sabbath, you are not allowed to put it off without the permission of your Rabbi. This is still happening among the Jew Disciples.
Whilst Jesus had no once-born blind Disciples but the twice-born spiritual Labourers that He employed in the Vineyard of our Father and He paid them the Wage of Holy Spirit, the Very Spirit of God, the Extra Ordinary Sense.
So, in this Dark Age of Christs that we exercise our common sense and give our own accounts to God and not to the Rabbis anymore.
