This verse is found in Luke23 verse 28. Jesus was being taken to the cross and many people were following Him and many women in the crowd were crying and mourning for Him. Jesus understood their sorrow and mourning for His impending death, but He knew that soon Jerusalem would be destroyed and the terrible suffering which would occur. So severe would their suffering be that Jesus spoke these words to the women. Jesus is here suggesting that their own suffering to come was more worthy of their tears than weeping for Him. Jesus was fulfilling His destiny at the cross, He came to earth for that reason and only naturally many cried who loved and cared about Him, but He had a purpose to fulfill, but for the women and their children they really would have something to cry/weep about once Jerusalm was under attack. And also suggesting that if His own sufferings are so great, then the sufferings of the Jews will be evn more intense. Also refer to Matthew 24:19 with similar words and this refers to a future time to come.
Do not weep, for me; instead weep for yourselves and your children.
Jesus told the women of Jerusalem not to weep for him but for themselves and their children, as he prophesied the coming destruction of Jerusalem and the suffering that would befall its inhabitants due to their sinfulness.
A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. Jesus turned and said to them,"Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.-Luke 23:28. Jesus told the women who were mourning and wailing for him as he was carrying his cross before he died not to mourn for him but themselves and their children.
Luke 23:27-31 - And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!' Then they will begin 'to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" ' For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?" [NKJV]

My Guess is the deceased Kathryn Kuhlmann. She was best known as a faith healer, so the weeping part was in a sense, built in. People with dire health problems are rarely in a frolicsome mood.
The correct quotation is, "Jesus wept." It is found in the Gospel of St. John, chapter 11, verse 35.
