On the surface these crimes seem completely random. Not entirely. Months before the Tate murders Manson had gone to 10050 Cielo Dr. looking for the owner of the house, Terry Melcher. Melcher, a record producer and son of Doris Day, had no interest in Manson's music, which infuriated Charlie. So when Manson decided it was time for 'Helter Skelter' he picked an address he knew. On the next night at the home of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, Manson picked the house of the next victims. This also was not completely random. Manson had visited a nearby home (reason unknown) so he was familiar with the neighborhood. So it was really more the addresses than the people that came to mind when he set his plan in action.
Charles Manson did not kill any of the victim's
Sharon Tate was the actress that was the Manson Family's victim. Charles Manson did not actually kill her or anyone else, but was convicted of conspiracy in the crimes.
No
Fun is not the exact word that applies. Control would be closer to the target. People that do what Manson did need to feel control over other humans. And what could be more powerful than someone that decides if you will live or die? Manson's followers would say that 'death was Charlie's trip', and it was. Killing made Manson, a man that stood 5ft 2in, feel bigger than he really was. Unfortunately for Manson, it was just an illusion, a product of his distorted thinking process. And like most serial killers, no matter how many times they kill, it is never a permanent feeling. They have to kill over and over to get that same feeling.
It wasn't just the hippies - everyone hated Charles Manson for being a murderer and brainwashing women to kill for him as well.
You don't. Manson is kept in solitary confinement 23/7 at Corcoran State Prison in California. He is kept alone for his own safety and it would be virtually impossible to kill him even for the other inmates.
The Beautiful People - Marilyn Manson song - was created in 1997-01.
Uhh i think he would be in jail if he did! No he didnt!!
No. Manson has spent most of his life behind bars but not Alcatraz's bars. The prison closed down in 1963 and I believe Manson was in another state.
There is no credible evidence or record to suggest that Charles Manson ever explicitly stated that he would kill again if he was released from prison. However, it is widely known that Manson was manipulative and unpredictable, and he had demonstrated a violent nature in the past. Therefore, any claims or statements attributed to him should be treated with caution.
Below is a link to a list of Manson's family members. It should be noted however that many of the young people that may have had contact with Manson and his regular group would just drift in and out due to the transient ways of the people of that era.
