When he was a young man, he dreamed of coming to America to make a hydroelectric plant at the Niagara.
He and his father had a relationship of what he would do when he would go off in his own. His father Milutin Tesla wanted to have Nikola go on with the legacy of being a serbian orthodox pope. However Tesla was more interested into going to a school for studying electricity at a college. One day Tesla was severely sick with a disease that he could of fatally died from. He and his father made a deal that if Nikola revived completely he could go to the college instead of being a orthodox pope. Tesla survived and his father was a man of his word.
