Who is more successful REM or Oasis?
In my honest opinion it's gotta be Oasis - they were the top of the world at one point and when Wonderwall first came out you couldn't go anywhere without hearing it. Although people must be reminded songs like Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger aren't the only good songs that Oasis produced, their B-sides were also outstanding e.g. Talk Tonight. Even though they've split up they've definitely left a mark in musical history and definitely in my life, I don't think I'll ever not love them. They were the voice of the generation and still are to an extend. Not to doubt REM's brilliance and success as a band, no two ways about it - REM were an amazing band but to me Oasis gets my vote any day.
