there isn't a difference in the gold. The only reason it is called gold dust is because gold dust is very small flakes of gold often found while gold panning. If you get enough gold dust you can have it melted down into a nice bigger nugget. :) Gold dust is fine particles of gold. gold nuggets are naturally occurring pieces of concentrated gold.
Ghana only traded within Africa and Songhai had Muslim influences. The main trade in Ghana was between salt and gold, but the trade in Songhai was more diverse. In Ghana they had to pay tax to the king, but in Songhai they did not. Ghana was ruled by a single king. Songhai had five provinces that were each ruled by a separate governor. I hope that helps :)

Sunni Ali set up the Songhai Kingdom and he as a Muslim but Islam only prospered in Songhai under Askia Mohammed.
They easily defeated Songhai's soldiers, who had only swords and spears while the enemy has gunpowder and cannons. :B
Your question is mistaken. Gold dust is mentioned only once in the Hebrew Bible (Job 28:6). All other references are to gold vessels, or gold ingots or coins, or to gold of various types. If it was refined, a smelting-furnace was used (Job 28:1, Proverbs 17:3 and 27:21). The gold was obtained through trade, or gifts, or conquest.
