At the time of their marriage William was 18, while Anne was 26—and pregnant with their first child. The average age of marriage was 26 years of age, so Anne would have been an eligible young lady of her time. ... Shakespeare's early marriage also meant that he wouldn't legally be able to complete an apprenticeship.

Romeo and Juliet married so early, because it was not considered early back when the story was written. Since the health of the people of the time was not great, and they only lived to about 40 back then, they wanted to get things done early. Teenagers that age were commonly married.

We can't tell for sure, but in all probability it was because they just liked each other. He was a bit young to get married, but unfortunately he had gotten her pregnant and so there was no delaying things. They stuck together for thirty-odd years, till death did them part, so it sounds like a love-match to me.

She was pregnant. But in any event they must have liked each other fairly well, because they stayed together for a couple of years, and Shakespeare returned to her when he retired from playwriting.

His girl was going to have a baby. At least she was at a reasonable age to get married (she was 26).

I might be wrong but I believe that he got married early because his wife, Anne Hathaway, was 3 months pregnant at the time.
