In 1781, Mozart was sacked from the Salzburg Courts after he and the Archbishop had an argument. So then he decided to go and work as a music teacher at a girls boarding school. The boarding school was owned by a group of sisters: Josepha (the eldest), Aloysia, Constanze and Sophie (the youngest). First, Mozart fell for Aloysia. Aloysia was 2 years older than Constanze - she was talented, confident and incredibly attractive. Mozart had many affairs with her. However, when he wanted her hand in marriage, Aloysia rejected him and they argued. Eventually they broke up. Constanze was the kind of girl who was plain, shy and modest - she blended into the background, invisible. But she was good at piano and singing.
