Why did blizzard entertainment make the game world of warcraft so easy even the least intellegent chimp could play it?

So more people could play it, bringing in more money for Blizzard. Even though they did dumb the game down quite a bit, it still is pretty tough if you don't know/pay attention to what you are doing.

It doesn't. Blizzard has made many games that have gotten the title "game of the year" INCLUDING: Starcraft, Starcraft expansion Brood War, Warcraft II, Warcraft III (reign of chaos, and frozen throne), and Diablo II. Blizzard Entertainment has made some decisions that many players don't like, including disabling battle.net support for 1.3 in Diablo 2 L.O.D, and making the difficulty level in World of Warcraft so low, that even the least intelligent chimp on the planet can play it.
