Three main reasons:
- Many business people did have enough faith in the software to trust their business data to it.
- There is no company that can be held accountable if something goes wrong.
- Most businesses are not in the software business and do not have the ability to provide support; they rely on technical support departments of companies that produce the software and can not afford to wait for a volunteer to answer a post to a support forum.
