I purchased The complete Call of Duty Series available for the PS3 based upon the wide popularity of the games. If you only have Black Ops right now I do not think you should buy Modern Warfare 2 when you can get the set of both games Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, but only if the price is greatly reduced. Anyway I found that the prices vary greatly I paid only $15 last November 27 2010 for Call of Duty World at War Greatest Hits and while awaiting delivery of Modern Warfare 2 purchased for $29.99 on December 28 2010 the price dropped to $19.99 until it sold out. If your using an Xbox 360 Watch for the Price to drop on Call of Duty The War Collection The console you have is the one that you need to buy the games for. If you have black ops then you are already using something to play it on. By the way Nintendo games are not the same as Xbox 360 PC and PS3 because they lack capabilities of those systems

Yes the last one had the highest first day sales and broke the record set by an earlier call of duty. When the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was being released they were going to drop the Call of Duty from it's name, but were convinced that having Call of Duty in the name helped sales. The next release is call of duty modern warfare 3 set for November 2011 and a Treyarch designed Call of Duty series game for Activision is expected to be released in November 2012

Basically, there will not be a store where they will sell Modern Warfare 2 cheap. It just came out on Tuesday. You could probably get it on Ebay if someone doesn't like it and sells it for less.. Stores probably won't drop prices for about two to three months...

There are multiple ways to boost. You can repetitively kill another person while they drop Tactical Insertions in front of you. You can take turns capturing a flag in domination. Those are just a couple ways to boost.

Yes there will be. Treyarch who developed Call of Duty Black Ops will work on there next game that will be released in November 2012. Activision releases an new call of duty each November. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was developed by Infinity Ward with the help of other developers this year. There will be a point that they drop the Call of Duty from the title and it may come with the currently unnamed Treyarch game release in November 2012.

There are no "set" weapons i believe. Possibly one of the pistols, shotguns, or submachine guns are. Also one of the enemies may drop one.
