Pocahontas risked her life for Smith
But that is just a story that john Smith told:
On his way to one village, Smith said that he was captured by Powhatan Indian scouts. Their chief, also called Powhatan, thought that Smith must die. Smith described that Powhatan's men held his head against a rock. Smith saw them raise their weapons. Suddenly, the cheif's daughter, Pocahontas, rushed forward. She "got [my] head in her arms," Smith declared, "and laid her own upon [mine] to save [me] from death."
In 1608 Powhatan's brother, Openchancanough, captured Captain John Smith and brought him back to Powhatan's main village, Werowocomoco. Powhatan had already become acquainted with Smith in his previous bargaining for corn and other provisions. Smith's account of his captivity places Powhatan in an adversarial role. He claims that he was tried before Powhatan and sentenced to death. According to Smith, his life was spared by the intercession of Powhatan's daughter Pocahontas. Some have disputed this account, alleging that Powhatan staged a mock trial and deliberately planned the rescue for his own purposes. Whatever Powhatan's intentions, he did permit Smith to return to Jamestown.
Because Pohcahontis laid herself over top of Smith and wouldn't let her father (Chief Powhatan) kill him.
No, but the other colonists did. They sprinkled him with gunpowder and set it on fire. He was burned so badly he had to go home.
a club with a nail stuck through it.
beacause they hated him
The only mention of a connection between John Smith and Pocahontas was in John Smith's memoirs that he wrote several years after returning from the colony. The actual likelihood of John Smith having ever known Pocahontas is remote. Pocahontas was married to John Rolfe, the one of the more affluent settlers in the Virginia Colony of Jamestown. She had been taken captive by him in a raid, and perhaps in an attempt to establish an ally relationship with her father, Powhatan the chief of the Five Tribes, he mimicked the practice of the Powhatan Renape or Virginia Algonquians. This was in fact quite successful. The only real relationship between Captain John Smith and Pocahontas was that he visited Virginia Colony and she was there when the white settlers arrived. Oh, and Disney perpetuated the myth of a nonexistent love affair in that cartoon.

She snuck out from home to see capt. John smith
He thought Lincoln didn't want to end slavery.
people might want to go to Virginia because it is an ideal location which had inspired the explorer Captain John Smith to take over Virginia. Also so they can go sight seeing for wonderful and cool places.
