Because they think that the US is the land of opportunity, that by coming here they will get paid well for their hard work and will be able to send money to help their families live a better quality of life. In some latin American countries the working people get paid very little for their work, you are either rich or poor, not in between.

Hey fire089 here,

Also to add to this statement, have you ever heard of the push-pull theory?

It states certain bad things PUSH people out of a certain place and new, good things PULL them over to that new place.

They want to come because they want to have a better life and because they need to give money to their families. They also want a better education for their children. there are many reasons for why they come here to because they need to get a job or because they need a home and a loving place.

Why do many teens in Mexico leave school?

Due to the low average income in Mexico, teens often quit school to go to work, to support themselves and their families. The drawback is that by doing so, they are more likely to earn less at the jobs they get, than if they received a greater level of education. This exists in the US as well, in areas where using underage migrant workers is not prohibited.
