Because Cheops had the biggest of the three pyramids , the great pyramid . The great pyramid was built over thousands of years ago. It was one of the largest handmade temples that was ever constructed. It took over 20 years to build the great pyramid. A while after Cheops died , intruders invaded the pyramid and stole the gold and the jewelry that was inside , along with the kings body! The great pyranid failed to keep the kings body safe.
