by people coming over from other countries and coming to Australia and then giving us a better opportunity to do more stuff like have more jobs and when people come over from other countries they can teach us other langues
Countries were power-hungry back then. They wanted power, wealth, land, resources, etc. (much like today, except modernized). There was also Social-Darwinism amongst the Europeans, in which they believed their race was superior to all and they should rule among the other people. Competition also arose between the great European powers (UK, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, etc.) over centuries which led to many wars and territorial acquisitions.
Europeans were able to dominate the Native Americans because they were mostly meeting with people who had a subsistence type of existence. They adjusted to changes in weather, over worked fields and other elements by moving from place to place. The European culture was more acquisitive, and the Europeans looked for ways and means to provide a consistent living through trade of furs and other commodities for things they needed for survival. Besides the basic seeds and stock, Europeans brought over items to sustain the early startup of their civilization. Europeans took over open lands that the Indians were not using seasonally, causing disruption in the lives of the natives.
During the late 1800s, Europeans had multiple advantages over people elsewhere in the world. These advantages included advanced military technology, such as superior firearms and artillery, which enabled them to easily subdue and dominate other regions. Europeans also had superior naval power, allowing them to establish colonies and control trade routes. Additionally, Europeans benefited from the Industrial Revolution, which boosted their economic and industrial capabilities, leading to technological advancements and greater wealth.
they took over their land by fighting against the other countries
Im pretty sure that its because of there greed and the competition.
There are over 50 countries in Europe and many different languages. So different Europeans talk in different ways.
Simple. Europe had the power: the technology, the weapons, the money, etc. while these other places had nothing. It was quite easy for the Europeans to take over in most places.
by appealing to the time-honored maxim of "might makes right."
Ethnocentrism is the express of superiority over other races. For example, this used to be the philosophy of Europeans during the ages of imperialism. Today, no countries truly express ethnocentrism at a national level, but perhaps North Korea.
France is just one of over 50 countries in Europe, so France is a part of Europe. So some Europeans are in France, but most are not.
They where constantly taking over other countries a and all had emperors. Imperialism is the taking over of other countries.
Its because the europeans kept invading other countries and aimed particulary at muslim regions and tried to take over and named all they had found towards themselves.
