Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany's losing the First World War. He also considered them members of a cosmopolitan intelligentsia whose ideals were against the militaristic ideals of Hitler's ideology.

There was no specific reason, actually. Hitler thought that the Jews (and many others) that didn't believe in what he said should be persecuted.

What did Hitler say about the Jews in his Reichstag speech of January 1939?

In his speech on 30 Janaury 1939 Hitler said that if the Jews plunged the world into war again, they would be annihilated. (The Nazis claimed that the Jews had caused World War 1 - hence 'again').

Did hitler hate himself for killing jews?

It is a complete myth that Hitler was a Jew. He was not, nor did he have Jewish parents. There are various false assertions about Hitler that have been spread over the years, but this one is the most puzzling, since there is no evidence that Hitler was in any way Jewish. As for why he killed the Jews, many books have been written and many theories have been expressed about why this one man held so much hatred and prejudice (and not just towards Jews-- in addition to the millions of Jews who died because of his policies, he also ordered the deaths of people who were mentally retarded or blind or deaf as well as political dissenters and those who refused to join the Nazi party); no answer is entirely satisfactory, but suffice it to say that Hitler found a scapegoat in the Jews, and he then used his powers of persuasion to convince ordinary Germans that eradicating the Jews would solve Germany's problems. (It is also a myth that Germany's problems were caused by the Jews, but Hitler was able to make that case, and six million Jews died as a result.)

What country has the most butcher shops?

I would say Canada has the most butcher shops... but they don't. Germany has the most butcher shops. I think they have the most butcher shops because they killed all those Jews. And the Jews must have been killed in the butcher shops across Germany.
