She never dealt with them firsthand, and fails to acknowledge that a war she voted for and a withdrawal 'plan' she supported ultimately helped to destabilize the region to the point where Jama'at al-Tawhid wal Jihad (which is the organization which made up the nucleus of what is today known as ISIS, and also the group who set up IEDs in our AO when I was deployed there) to grow to what it has become.
