At first the people were interested in what he taught, which to some degree was different to what their priest taught. The priests were teaching complicated doctrine whereas Christ taught to the people not at them.He associated his teachings with everyday life so that the people could associate themselves with the principles he taught. Even though they could believe in what he taught it was not until the Holy Spirit tesified to them that he who taught then was the one that they had been waiting for .
Answer:
Because John the Baptist testified to his own disciples that He was ... of whom Peter's brother, Andrew, was one.
"...John bare record... I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; and looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD!
"And the two disciples heard Him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto Him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? He saith, Come and see...
"...One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, WE HAVE FOUND THE MESSIAS, which is, being interpreted, the Christ." (John 1:32-41)
John the Baptist "prepared the way" for Jesus' appearance... and bore witness to Him.
"Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me..." (Malachi 3:1).
I don't think so. They were working for Christ, so it was probably service.
Mary Magdalene followed Christ with the Disciples.
How many disciples? There were 12 disciples. Judas betrayed Christ, and was replaced by Mathias.
The Disciples of Christ are Christian, from the Protestant branch of Christianity. Jewish people generally do not believe that "Christ" has come yet, and those people who do believe he came are called Christians (followers of Jesus Christ). So, the Disciples of Christ would be gentiles, since they are not Jews. It is worth noting that "Disciples of Christ" is the name of a particular church, not a general term for those who follow Christ.
John is one of the disciples of Jesus Christ.
A disciple is a follower of Christ. An apostle is one who is set apart or ordained as a leader is Christ's church. There were, and are 12 apostles to serve in Christ's church. There are millions of "disciples" or followers of Christ.
The United States No, the disciples of christ were under the rule of the Roman empire at the time of christ and his disciples, but most of them would have been from the modern day israel/palestine area, or other areas of the middle east. This does suggest that Jesus and many of disciples were Arabs.

They act like the disciples when they preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, as that is what the disciples did.
