he needed to died so that we could be washed of our sins. we need to except him as our savior and lord.
yes we need to repent for our sins the main reason why jesus die at the cross was because he truly love humanity even when we were sinners jesus loves us. we cant understand that kind of love. god is such a good god and he wants all humanity to be save but he gave was the choose to fall into the trappers hand our in gods hands.=D
Jesus was sent on this Earth for a purpose and that was to die on the cross and resurect in three days so that people like you and me can have eternal life in heaven and not have to go to hell. Salvation is easy and free. All you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save your soul and forgive you of your sins. I promise if you are sinceere and truly ask him and know that he is drawing you to be saved, then you will be saved. Acts 4:11 Says, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." So therefore we all must be saved or we shall go to hell and be burned and tormented for eternity. If you are saved you will go to heaven and see Jesus Christ your saviorand will have eternal rejoicing and praising.
It is essential to all Christian theology that Jesus freely accepted his death because Christians believe that Jesus saved all people from sin and death only because he lovingly gave, or sacrificed his whole being to God. Jesus' death would not have had the effect of saving the world from sin and death is he had run away after realizing he was about to be crucified. Through his death, Jesus bridged the separation between god and humanity that is created by sin.
Another viewpoint:
Jesus' death provided the ransom to pay back what Adam lost for mankind. Adam and Eve, created perfect but willfully broke God's command. The result, they were sentenced to eternal death, and expelled from the original Paradise. For us, we inherit sin and death from Adam (Romans 5:12). Only God could provide a legal basis where he could justly forgive us our sins and free us from the penalty of eternal death. He did this by sending his beloved Son from heaven to be born as a perfect human, who could give his life as a ransom for us. Unlike Adam, Jesus remained perfect. Jesus' death makes it possible for those exercising faith in him to receive everlasting life.
By his death and resurrection, Jesus overcame the power of sin over humans.
There was no other way for this to happen except by the death of Jesus.
Because he wanted to save all people from hell and so everyone's sins could be forgiven by God the heavenly Father.
Jesus is God's son. Jesus was Sent to earth for 1 purpose to die on the cross for our sins. God gave Jesus a choice to die for us and Jesus choSe to die on the cross for me and you because He loves us so so much!
Jerusalem is the place Jesus chose to die on the cross for the sins of the world.
Jesus chose 12 disciples as his followers.
Jesus spent the whole night in prayer to God, before he chose his apostles. The book of Luke records this.
No.
Jesus' followers were his disciples. They were people who believed who Jesus was first, and chose to be loyal to him.
He chose to die for us. Check these scriptures out. Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46, and John 19:30.
Jesus died for those He chose before the foundation of the world.
Jesus has 16 disciples
He didn't; the people who chose to follow Jesus named themselves Christians :)
Jesus chose the first disciples , who were fishermen, they were brothers Peter and Andrew.
We can tell we are not Jesus as we are sinners we die but Jesus and god does not die.
