because some people dont get taught about The Bible and they might go to heaven if they never gott the chance to learn about God
People might have been drawn to Jesus by his teachings and his miracles, but they were not inspired to follow him, as is illustrated at his trial and crucifixion when everyone rejected him and fled away. (Mathew 26.56) Only after the gift of the Holy Ghost and the preaching of the disciples did many people follow him
It is estimated that 2.1 billion people now call themselves Christian. This number, however, includes many cults who follow their own twisted religion. And many so-called followers only want the benefits of Christianity, but actually want Jesus to follow them. As in John, chapter 6, the number of people who actually follow Jesus is much smaller than what it appears to be.
alot jesus was a peaceful guy he under stood people and wha they had to say. he helped people like lazzerath etc. so my opinion over 5 times
There are many followers of Jesus Christ who come to him in many different ways, but not necessarily chosen of him. Jesus talks of those who want to follow him, thus: Luke 9.23. And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
12
Jesus had 12 apostles although many other people followed Jesus around and tried to assist him and are called disciples. All of those that follow our Lord, living and dead, are called disciples. We have no way of knowing this number.
Actually people are wooed to Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. When they believe on Him (believe that He died for their sin, was buried, and was resurrected) and become followers of Jesus they are then and only then Christians. You have to believe on Jesus before you become a Christian.
disciples there were 12 In addition to the original 12 Disciples identified in the Gospels, all people through the centuries who have believed in Jesus or who believe now are called Christians. These followers of Jesus can also be called "the Church," "disciples," and "believers." The original 12 are also known as the Twelve Apostles or simply as "the Twelve."
Many religious leaders water-down Christ standards to attract people to their institutions. Once there most of the focus it on activities and not imitating Christ.
Many people who believed on him, including his disciples. See Matthew 14.13. When Jesus heard [of it], he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard [thereof], they followed him on foot out of the cities.
Everyone has sinned at least once. There is no such thing as sin. People have sinned because they follow their own will and also they do not fear God.
First of all, most of the New Testament is written by Paul. When he was taken to Rome as a prisoner he also was responsible for many people beginning to follow Jesus.
