Some scientists believe this because things proven by science point to a higher power. for example, things in the universe are perfectly level, like oxygen on earth. if there where to much, a small spark would set the world on fire, and to little, life would be unsustainable. also, every detail of the universe is perfectly in balance. this points to the thought that something must have created every detail perfectly.

Science and religion are not mutually exclusive to each other. In fact, the study of various sciences has led some scientists to believe in an intelligent creator because they see design in the laws of nature. To publish these beliefs would be career suicide, so most of them keep somewhat quiet about it. The Bible's account of creation actually fits very well with the facts and order of things that science has been able to discover so far. Of course, that is only if you take the creative days to be an unspecified period of time and not literal 24 hour days. The Bible does leave room for adaptation in species, which has been proven to have happened through visible and repeatable scientific discoveries. It does not however, leave room for the theory of evolution, which has not been proven nor has it been repeatable.
The science of geology has changed because scientists now realize that not all geologic changes are uniformitarianism, and that catastrophism exists.
Religion and science, at least in the absolute sense(where it is assumed that having religious believes is a form of non-education) are incompatible. Religion offers certainty where none exists, science finds new ways to prove itself wrong.
Science-"An organized body of knoweledge pretaining to all NATURAL events in the NATURAL UNIVERSE gained through observation and experimentation"Science is only about the natural things while religion focuses on supernatural things. Just as a natural and Supernatural universe co exist, science and religion do.
Pep Guardiola isn't a religious person. He does not believe that God exists.
You can find a science poster board anywhere. All you have to do is believe that it exists with all your mind and it shall be so.
They aren't anti-god but don't believe he exists but so don't I, and because the whole big bang theory and evolution which I believe that but if someone can show physical proof god exists then I'm happy to believe in him
Yes. Creation is a story while evolution is science. The two can really never explain each other. You can not use science to explain any fairy tales.Creationists do think that their story does explain things.Answer:No, of course not. As the above answer states, the two cannot explain each other. Science cannot prove that God didn't create the Universe. A significant percentage of scientists believe in God as the creator and the agent of evolution, or without evolution.Answer:Just because some scientists believe in god, it doesn't mean that they believe in creation stories. The argument that because they believe in god must mean that they don't believe in evolution is illogical. And a creationist would first have to prove god exists and explain god's origins.
Millions of people throughout the world do believe there is a soul. Science, however, has yet to prove that a soul exists.
Even before the knowledge of science exists, these things such as viruses already exsisted.....the scientist will know in time.
Karma probably exists to those whose religion is Hindu or Buddhist, or in other words, if you believe in it, it probably will exist to you.
I believe the vast majority of climate scientists who know what they are talking about. Every Scientific Academy in the developed world agrees with them too. The critics who say it is a huge fraud are not peer-reviewed climate scientists..
That means you are a theist. It is the belief that at least one deity exists.
