It was. It's been shut down by US authorities for trading in unregistered securities.
Ask in the support section if they can ban you, or use the account on many different IP addresses (proxies will work fine).
It seems the internet has a soft spot for people that rip the hard working people off. We need a law that this kind of site can be shut down for ever.
Well, whatever you do, don't list it with someone who promises that he "already has a buyer lined up." And certainly don't fall for the ol' "listing fee," "marketing fee," or "title fee." If a resell company tries to charge you any of these things, take down their company name, phone number, and whatever other information you can report, and report them to their own local consumer protection agency. Charging these fees is illegal. Help shut these illegal operations down!

The advent of Facebook came about as a spin-off of a Harvard University version of Hot or Not called Facemash. Mark Zuckerberg, while attending Harvard as a sophomore, concocted Facemash on October 28, 2003. Zuckerberg was blogging about a girl and trying to think of something to do to get her off his mind. The Facebook on February 12, 2004 According to the Harvard Crimson, Facemash "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine Houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the “hotter” person." The site was quickly forwarded to several campus group list-servers but was shut down a few days later by the Harvard administration. Zuckerberg was charged by the administration with breach of security, violating copyrights and violating individual privacy and faced expulsion, but ultimately the charges were dropped. The following semester, Zuckerman founded "The Facebook", originally located at thefacebook.com, on February 4, 2004.

Mark Zuckerberg wrote Facemash, the predecessor to Facebook, on October 28, 2003, while attending Harvard as a sophomore. The site represented a Harvard University version of Hot or Not, according to the Harvard Crimson.[18] According to The Harvard Crimson, Facemash "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine Houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the 'hotter' person".[19]Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook in his Harvard dorm room.To accomplish this, Zuckerberg hacked into the protected areas of Harvard's computer network and copied the houses' private dormitory ID images. Facebook was invented around 2003-2004 by someone called "mark zucherberg". He came up with the idea of what is now called "Facebook" while he was in Harvard, the original idea of "connect_u"(not 100% sure that's what it was FIRST called though) as it was called then was to connect all the people at Harvard, His idea was very good so he decided to connect the website with other colledges, and eventually it was made public. Mark zucherberg now total's around 7-8 billion dollars and is 26 years of age. (when he was a part of connect u, he decided to quit and start his own site "facebook" and was sued for 65 million dollars for using some of the scripts HE HAD CREATED on his own website for his.
