Exact number is unknown, however very few surrendered or defected to the Allies. In fact there is very little written about defections of Japanese to the Allies in WW2. Much more is known about the more common problem of Japanese-Americans defecting to Japan.

Well for one thing, more Americans will have jobs! In today's world, "trade" means outsourcing jobs to other countries where they pay the workers cheap wages. The result is more Americans out of work!
