so the black peaple and white people to be equal
Is it Nelson Mandela? I knew that Nelson Mandela is the first black president. Nelson Mandela became a leader because of his touching speech. He suffered imprisonment in a deep cause. He struggled for his freedom, that's why he was chosen to be the leader of their place. repost this if you want. posted by: joseph_ck16
yes
So they will have a better nation than the one before.
Nelson Mandela is considered as one of the most charismatic and influential leaders of Africa. He changed SA by standing against apartheid and ensuring that all people in the country enjoy equal opportunities and dignity.
Mandela only served one year he refused the second time. Eventually they won the battle to stop discrimination for the blacks, so i guess that he refused the second time because he didnt want to. Also in jail he spreaded the messegaes of discrimination.
Nelson Mandela was arrested 5 August 1962 and released from prison 2 February 1990. Pro-apartheid South African president, P.W. Botha, had a stroke in 1989 and Botha's replacement, Frederik Willem de Klerk, freed Mandela. Botha had once offered Nelson Mandela release from jail in 1985, but only on the condition that Mandela would stop the armed conflict. Nelson Mandela chose to stay in prison as he believed it was the right thing to do in order to put an end to apartheid.
because he didn't want to be arrested
he didn't want to sabotage anything he wanted good for his country
didn't want to show his legs.
