the fleur de lis which was associated with french monarchy is recognized in north Americas to where the french settled. the french settled in quebec and Louisiana. The fleur de lis is a sign of hope and recovery since Hurricane Katrina. It reminds us that we love our city. we will never forget hurricane Katrina
