set the legal precedent that leaders are responsible for the deeds of their nations in times of war.
Nationalism is the concept that if you are part of a nation regardless of where you are you are responsible to that nations leadership. If the leadership tels you that you must go out and fight on their ( The Nations Behalf) you do so. If you question it especially at times of war this will be seen as unpatriotic and you could be executed for this. Nationalism ensures that differing groups of people are kept appart and can the be used in conflicts for the (so called) common good.
The lifestyle of the coureur de bois wasn't perfect. They traveled 70-100 miles a day trading furs to the first nations. However, in their times of trouble the first nations helped them through everything. They taught them all these survival skills and acted like true friends.

The United Nations was created soon after.deaths of 58 million soldiers and civilians on both sides ( total number ). countless cities destroyed, new weapons like the atomic bomb, 16 million people killed in holocaust 6 million were Jews. but on the American front it showed how we as Americans can stick together during hard times. the united nations was created to help prevent another war like this. lots of countrys became a democracy. cold war started. there are so many outcomesThe Allies won.
