Booby traps were meant to deter tomb robbers from stealing the treasures inside the pyramids. They were designed to surprise and harm intruders by using mechanisms such as falling rocks, poison darts, and hidden pits. The traps were a way to protect the valuable belongings of the deceased pharaohs buried in the tombs.
Pharaohs did not typically install booby-traps in the pyramids. It is a popular myth perpetuated by Hollywood movies and storytelling. The pyramids were designed to protect the burial chambers from tomb robbers through architectural features like secret passages and heavy stone blocks.
i think it varies from pyramid to pyramid.
The Pyramids of Giza are wonders of the world. They have three pyramids and a servant complex. The stone pyramids are different because they were usually built as step pyramids. The Pyramids of Giza were made of stone, but they had gold caps on the top. The Pyramids of Giza also have traps and mazes inside so tomb robbers won't reach the king's riches.
i think they did. i think it was 4 the kings or queens not to get their charms and other treasures stolen.
Yes!!! Every pryamid has booby traps such as: Rocks falling on an intruder, curses (Stuff like: If you enter my tomb you will die a slow and painful death), wire traps, hidden doors collapsing on an intruder, being stuck in a room with no doors, food, or supplies. If you're planning on visiting the great pyramids of Egypt, dont go in the pyramids (unless its safe). I doubt they'd let you go into one but it's a tricky, hard thing to do. Just so you know, no one has intruded the pyramids in thousands of years so... yeah... Haha! Good luck!
