I think,it is the French supertitious beliefs. We have a different supertitious as a person here on earth,so were free.
The English didn't think comets were good luck as they thought it was a fireball sent from demons to destroy the earth.
At early times many people believed that comets were fireballs sent from demon's or gods to destroy earth. There was also a legend that every time a comet was seen a king would die.Thats right. The English believed that Comet-seeing would bring them bad luck, and each king would die had they seen A Comet. But um... I kinda lol @ them... Comets are harmless... Only comprised of Dust, Gas and the Head ( Nucleus)That guy up there above me with the lol is VERY stupid. First of all theEnglish thought they were bad luck because everytime someone dies or something a comet passes by. And comet AREN'T harmless, they can be HARMFUL to us human in Earth, because a comet hit Jupiter and made a gas cloud as the size of Earth.
