There's no "why", since there's no evidence for such a concern.

they asked the Romans to crucify Jesus, as they had no power to do that, the main reason was Jesus was getting popular. and he said he was the son of god, this angered them. Erm no actually he was sent to die for our sins (the Original Sin) and it was for God to atone for his cruelness of sending us into this evil world.
