In the first season, Walt and Jesse cook their product in the Winnebago Rambler so that they can move the lab to prevent detection. The problem is Tuco's cousin Krazy-8 (Tucco appears later) grabs Jesse and makes him take them to the Rambler in the desert and tries to get Walt and Jesse to cook a batch of meth, all the time Walt and Jesse know that when they finish, the two gunmen plan to kill them. Walt gases the two into unconsciousness, and flee the scene with what they believe to be the dead bodies, setting fire to their car before they flee. New to the life of a meth cooker, Walter panics, and driving down the dirt roads of the New Mexico desert, fishtails the RV, loses control, and dumps it into a ditch, minutes before the Albuquerque fire department flies by on the way to put out the car fire.
