Start with the easy fixes first. Check your fuses. If your fuse that is labeled for the turn signals is not blown, then it is most likely the combo switch in your steering column that your turn signal switch is connected to.
Could be the flasher unit.
If the turn signals in the dash don't work, what about the outside front and rear turn signals? Working? Not working? If it's not working, replace the turn signal relay under the dash.
If your 2000 Lincoln has turn signals that don't work, first check to see if the bulbs are working. Then, see if there is fuse that has blown that affects the turn signals.

More than likely a defective Flasher Relay. Replace it.
Check the fuses first of all. I think the Durango has two flashers as well, one for the hazards and one for the signals so it could be a bad flasher.

You need to check the fuse box, it everything is fine there. You have to test the relay.
If the turn signals are not working properly on a 2002 Chevy Venture and the fuses seem to be alright, check for burned out bulbs in the turn signals. Also, check to make sure the turn signal flasher is working properly.
