I think you are referring to the "War of the Roses" fought for the throne of England between 1455 and 1485. The was was 30 years long. It started when Henry VI went insane and the Yorks had a claim to the throne, so instead of having a mad king on the throne. They thought we can take the throne and that's what they tried to do! So the War of the Roses is the war of that.The House of Tudor came out ahead, and as a result, ruled the country for 116 years.
