The French & British leaders were not willing to fight Germany to save Czechoslovakia in 1938. None of the countries that Czechoslovakia had alliances with or had promised support were geographically adjacent to that country. They could not send troops to help. The only way for France & Britain could try to save Czechoslovakia, would be to attack Germany directly. France & Britain had spent two decades creating military forces with defense capability, not offense capability. Hitler actually wanted a war, so he could seize all of Czechoslovakia, not just the Sudetenland (western part of country).
The appeasement delayed the world war by 11 months.
let him have his way and he'll stop, didn't work though.
they let Hitler make an army, they let Germany make a transportation system for troops, allowed Germany to join austria and they let Hitler anex other countrys
He burnt them and let the ashes fly away
Its called the Policy of Appeasement, we let Hitler take Austria, Sudetenland, and Czechoslovakia without saying much, hoping that if he got what he wanted, he would be satisfied.
Jefferson's policy toward American Indians was not proactive. His policy was to let the settlers expand and take away more and more of the Native American's area. This would force the Native Americans to turn to farming.
Hitler is a great example for why NOT to let one person have total, or near total power.
Neville Chamberlain let Hitler get a bigger and stronger army and invade Poland and checkislvakia and Austria this was ageinst the Treaty of VERSAILLES
Because they were scared of Hitler and the Nazi party

The Nazis imprisoned a great many homosexuals in concentration camps. There is no evidence that Hitler was homosexually oriented. And although Hitler hid in a closet during the Dr. Who "Let's Kill Hitler" episode, it wasn't because of his sexual orientation. He was under attack by a humanoid robot.
Hitler was a great speaker. And he was very influential. It didn't take long for the National Socialist Party to name Hitler as their leader.
