It ensures that amendments are made carefully and thoughtfully.
The procedure for amending any constitution is so complex because a constitution holds the most fundamental principles of a state and the society it emerged from. If it were easy to amend a constitution, every ruler or ruling party would be able to change it at will. This would lead to great instability, as constitutions guarantee continuity. Also, amending a constitution is generally subject to a popular vote, added to the parliamentary procedure as a safeguard.
Because the constituition is just what was needed and is just what is needed. they knew that if any fool could modify it they knew that the government they had created would destabilize and cease to be the rebublic they had created. if they had made it so any president or congress could modify it then we would be in trouble, what if a communist was in charge, an extreme atheist, a satanist or some power hungry moron then our rights and laws could be twisted simply on the whim of a madman or a fool. That is why no modifications to the constituition were allowed after the bill of rights which has been twisted around against original intentions.
The founders did not want it to change on the whims of a few citizens
it is difficult because u will have to make a rule for it and everything
Those are the set of rules which should not be amended, it should be just practised
The amendments to the constitution have to be ratified by states. Another method, used just once, was that 2/3 of both houses of Congress have to ratify the amendment.
