Why did they call it the klondike?

According to Wikipedia:

The name "Klondike" actually evolved from the Hän word Tr'ondëk, which means "hammerstone"

Early gold seekers found it difficult to pronounce the First Nations word, so "Klondike" became the result of this poor pronunciation.
