A push-bike with a big front wheel!
about as big as they always was
The wheels are the big round things on which the bike moves and the axles are at the center of the wheels, attaching them to the bike.
Don't know any penny bikes, but there were penny-farthing bikes. These had really big front wheels, with the pedals attached directly to the wheel axle, and a quite small rear wheel.
Because before the invention of the chain drive, the driven wheel would only turn as fast as the pedals turned. and the only way to get some decent speed was then to make the drive wheel as big as possible
Really, really big. Big enough so that the rider's legs just reached the pedals stuck in the middle.
Is the wheel bearing on the front or the rear ????.. There is a big difference ...
They come in all sizes, from 12" kiddie bikes to the old 70" high-wheelers.
2 wheel or 4 wheel drive makes a big difference.
the crf 150rb has a 19 inch front wheel and a 16 inch back wheel
