Because this is probably because of men being the first pharaoh, this might be the reason to why women were not preferred, and due to women giving less chance to show their abilities as a pharaoh (due to people just making men pharaohs), men were preferred every time, every now and then a girl may be born from the pharaohs wife, so the pharaoh would go with their other brothers or siblings, then soon get a boy, and then the boy would be taught and would soon be the next ruler, hatshepsut and the other queens were only took as pharaohs for having special situations, like for hatshepsut, after marrying her brother thutmose II she had a child by the name of thutmose III after thutmose II died, thutmose III was supposed to rule, but he was of course... too young, so hatshepsut put the matter to her own hands, and there you go! she became Pharaoh.
how did the fighting octopus go in to battle
After the death of her father at age 12, Hatshepsut married her half-brother Thutmose II, whose mother was a lesser wife, a common practice meant to ensure the purity of the royal bloodline. During the reign of Thutmose II, Hatshepsut assumed the traditional role of queen and principal wife.
The battle was fought on 22 January 1879. The battle lasted for a total of 7 hours.
yes they did
ANSWER: Many believe Thutmose III was the pharaoh during this time period. No one is absolutely sure.
There is no indication of his name in the Bible, but scholars call him Pharoah 128, to presume it was Ramses or anyone else is best left to those who do not answer questions on here. And incidentally, no one, Pharaoh or otherwise, drove Moses out of Egypt. Moses went to Pharaoh and demanded he let Moses and his people go (they were slaves in Egypt, not people Pharaoh would be inclined to drive away since they were his cheap labor force). When Pharaoh would not let Moses and the Israelites go, 10 plagues descended upon Egypt one at a time until finally Pharaoh let Moses and his people leave. Pharaoh quickly changed his mind and chased Moses (to either capture them all or kill them all) to the Red Sea where Moses and his people safely crossed the sea and Pharaoh's men/army were all swallowed up by the sea.
Egypt has a very interesting history to it. in fact, Egypt was home to the youngest ruler in history. King Tut. and also, Egypt was home to the most powerful woman in history. a woman named Hatshepsut (and yes that is her name). a female ruler who named herself king.Hatshepsut was married to the Pharaoh Thutmose II, her half brother. He died young leaving the throne to Thutmose III, his son by another woman. Because Thutmose III was still very young, Hatshepsut took over power. Many did not think that women should rule, but Hatshepsut dressed as a man and called herself king. After she died, her stepson (Thutmose III) took back power and vandalized all of the monuments she had built. Another famous Ruler was Nefertiti, she was also a great ruler who was a female. After she died, Tomb robbers broke into her tomb and took all of the jewels and gems, but they did something else that was a MAJOR sign of hatred. they bashed in the mouth of the mummy, the reason is, is that when you go into the "afterlife" you need to be able to speak your name to the "gods" . but she couldn't do that with her mummy's mouth bashed in. egypt is a great place to visit.
